that's us

Ida Bomm (1996, DE) is an artist with a background in educational science. She works with text, illustrations, and pedagogical approaches to develop strategies of publicness. Through her work, she aims to explore collective methods for critical speculative thinking. In her artistic practice, she aims to create spaces that make us imagine futures beyond our individual ones.

Jaron Vandevelde (1997, BE) is an artist/designer. In his practice, Jaron invites living systems, such as insects, fungi, and birds into processes of care and co-creation. He explores how artistic and design practices can operate within, rather than seeking separation from more-than-human systems.

Javel (2014, BE) is on Jaron's side since early teenage years and became his companion animal. Living together with her, now being an elderly dog, shapes not only our everyday lives and routines, but also remains an important reminder for us to turn our ethics for this collective practice into a lived experience for all of us.
